Moat & Bailey
Moat: A deep, broad trench, usually filled with water, surrounding a structure, installation, or town, normally to provide it with a preliminary line of defense.
Bailey: A courtyard, typically surrounded by a wooden fence called a palisade, and surrounded by the moat.
Moat & Bailey has a team of security analysts who carry out both pure and applied security vulnerabilities research. Pure research, by our definition, is the discovery of vulnerabilities through theoretical and lab analysis of network architectures and/or devices that may introduce vulnerabilities into a network. Applied research is the discovery of new vulnerabilities while performing security services (e.g., penetration testing) for a Moat & Bailey client.
